I'm on Cablevision/Optimum Online and I've gone through the whole mess of resetting everything from the modem to the router to the switch and the PC. Nothing changes.

3 accounts always work, 3 accounts will not work no matter what I do.

And, no, it isn't just us.

Logon timeouts between character changes

Spaz, were you originally on Dragon Server? Seems to be pointing to that database. Actually my original Mindflayer toons are doing the same, exact thing...... -_-

I'm getting some timeouts now. It still goes, but it times out 4 or 5 times first. Only happens when switching characters. Once I'm on a character it works just fine.

In game, if you let the timer run down completely, it seems to let you switch characters. If you shorten the time, by clicking ok, it will time you out.


I think the database is getting corrupted and every time people keep logging in and out, timing out, etc., it corrupts it even more, which is why more and more people are experiencing it.

Yep, all toons on Dragon.

And now even the ones that were working originally are timing out.

Here's hoping for a server reset...

I haven't logged into the actual game in about a month. It's also back to working completely normally for me again. Whatever the problem was seems to be past.

I log in, 'cos I'm less than 2 months from getting my Purple Angel. After that, I'll be taking a long break and earning my million AD a week for a while.

Of course they're not acknowledging it. They're weeks away from releasing their new module, which WILL break a ton of stuff ('cos they always do), so they're waiting for that to drop. If they genuinely cared about their product, they'd have fixed the Cloak Tower door problem people have been reporting for weeks they claimed to have "fixed,"

I know, right? What was I thinking It's not like you would want the very first dungeon that your newest players come in contact with to work properly or anything... *sigh*

On another note, running through all my accounts this morning to do my hourly Invokes (Hey, AD is AD and XP is XP.) and I got the timeout crap on 4 character switches. Just a heads up that whatever happened on Monday might be building again.

Does it auto refine if you don't log in? Haven't tested that yet.

The game, itself, will auto-refine your AD at approximately 0400 CST. The bot doesn't need to auto-refine, unless you need it, right away.

But you have to log in for the auto-refine to occur. If, like me, you don't log in for months at a time nothing will auto-refine.

Ditto. I wouldn't think going to the character's inventory page and hitting refine would be a difficult feature to add but it would be an awesome addition.
