I get logged out A LOT, is there a reason? Its only with this last update to the bot do I get logged out.

The alchemy list is false. Half of taks are not there
The problem here is that you cant start tasks in a certain slot through the gateway. A job will always be started at the next open slot
It might be a bug within the bot too, hard to find the reason for bugs sometimes
I understand this can be frustrating. Problem at the time is, that I am playing another game, when I developed the bot, I didnt play anything and had time for the bot in my free time. At the time its just fixing bugs/giving support, which is not really fun for me and therefore I dont put so much into it. However I will probably get more interest in it at some point and trying to develop it further.
the stuck on the task page seems to be a common problem. Looking in the sourcecode, I cant really figure it out, needs a lot of testing from my side. Its hard to find out what causes an error, if it works fine for yourself
When I added alchemy it were all tasks, seems like they changed a lot, I will add this in a next version. However you can add all tasks yourself in the alchemy.txt file
I can understand your frustration about it, however you have to look at this from my point. Made this bot in my free time, I enjoy programming it. However solving those problems for a few requires me to google a lot, trying testing and checking stuff for hours, although it works completly fine for me. This is not a commercial program as you already said, you cant expect me to do something I dont want to. If you find a solution which has to he programmed into the bot, I can do it.
A relog is on my todo list
Dragonef22, thanks again for the work. I've been having really good results with multiple characters for long periods of time. Stability for me seems rather good now. Ram and CPU usage are no longer an issue.
For those needing to add recipes:
As for Alchemy recipes, since Alchemy is different than the other professions, you can't see all the recipes by default. You have to "learn" certain recipes. Whenever you learn a new recipe, use the gateway browser inside the APB bot, and make note of the URL. It will show the name of the recipe as you start it. This is the text you need to add to your alchemy.txt file. Spelling and capitalization is important so be careful and double check.
EDIT: I also believe that after you edit the alchemy.txt file that you will need to restart the bot for it to read the new list of recipes. Even if you don't have to restart the bot, I have had much, much better luck when restarting the bot after editing the recipes text file(s).
I feel that the gateway version of Alchemy is the cause of most of my problems. The other day I started a fresh bot instance on a character that had not been crafting at all for a long time, and the only recipes that would show up in the gateway were the rare/blue recipes. I tried to manually start something but that of course did not work since I could not see any other recipes in the gateway. I restarted the bot, no help. I went to the web browser (Firefox) version of the gateway and the same thing occured - nothing but rare recipes. I had to log into the game, start a task manually, but even *that* didn't fix it. It wasn't until I could "Collect Reward" that the recipes then began showing up in the Gateway.
TIP: (this may or may not work for you, I'm just posting something that worked for me)
If you get "could not start recipe" or your Gateway is not showing all recipes you expect, log into the game, manually run a task, force it to finish (Pay AD to rush it), and collect the result. Then retry the Gateway/bot.
In several days, the only "failed to start job" errors have been because the character has run out of some resource needed for the recipe. Maybe double check your inventory in game.
If I need to change a slot to a different recipe, I can usually Interrupt the bot, change the recipe, save the settings, reload the settings, and restart the bot with no problem.
Sometimes however when changing my list of recipes, I need to close the bot and relog to restart it with the new list of recipes.
I don't know why that happens sometimes and not all the time, but again, just a TIP to maybe help some folks if they see the same problem.
The only time I have seen a gateway timeout (you have been disconnected) has been when a recipe could not start for longer than 15 minutes, which is the "you have been marked away" timeout in game.
Example: Say I have 2 slots. Slot 1 is running a 1hr task. Slot 2 is running a 2hr task. When slot 1 finishes, slot 2 still has an hour left. If slot 1 errors for any reason, it will keep retrying, but will keep failing. Slot 2 has still not completed, so I *think* the game thinks you're away from keyboard. After 15 minutes of failing to restart slot1, the character is logged out.
No, Sir. It's not the bot. I have the exact, same problem and I rolled back to 1.3.1. The timeouts are from the craptacular Gateway. It's very annoying to set the bot up to run over night, only to find out it timed out, an hour after you went to sleep. I just had the same problem. Checked my server, which I started around 10 and it had already timed out. It's Craptic (Cryptic), though. What do you expect. They haven't had a decent game, since City of Heroes.
sir is this detectable by NW? Im afraid that i might get banned. do I really need to log in to use? Thanks for answering my questions
sir i have a question? i want to auto task the platesmithing gather iron ore. what should i select? its a little bit confusing thanks!
How could you use it without logging in? Would the game just magically know that some byte is your item?
lol. See how many people are in this thread that haven't said "OMG MY ACCOUNT WAS STOLEN"? That means its safe dude.
As for banning, they would very easily be able to tell that you are logged into Gateway doing professions all day, but they have absolutely no way to detect if you are human/bot or not. There is no timeout on the gateway pages (why is beyond me.. kinda dumb) so a legit player could leave the gateway logged in for 24 hours, so they can't use that for a rule to ban.
Also, another good way to avoid bans is to PAY FOR ZEN.
They think twice about banning someone who has paid them money, and likely will again in the future.
They may of started using the timeout recently because of people doing the auto profession. I mean they essentially killed every way to farm in this game.
