I am now often playing 2 separate WAR account at the same time. I have managed to get your hack to work separately/independantly from each client but with lots of trial and error.

I load up the first WAR session, load the hack and all is good.

I load up the 2nd WAR session, then load the hack... but the majority of the time the 2nd instance of the hack attaches itself to the first WAR session. I click/close/open/close over and over until for some unknown reason it will work with the 2nd WAR client.

Is there some way to make this easier?

Running 2 instances of WAR and 2 instance of the hack?

There's 3 main ways (that I can think of) for a program to find another program.
    - search for the title of the window ("Warhamme: Age of..etc")
    - search for the process ("WAR.exe")
    - search for the PID (process id)

I'm not certain exactly how the last option can be implemented here. However, I do know that if your "program" uses either of the first two methods to locate and attach to warhammer your computer cannot discern between war 1 and war 2.

I don't know how you could multibox with WAR (I know you could) but what I mean is how does the 2nd one look like...

    the S4lly WARper code is
    Code:
    Process[] processesByName = Process.GetProcessesByName("war");
    so... how?

Ah, yes, see it's using the second method in my previous post. If you open process manager in windows (ctrl+shift+esc) you will see that the string name of both are WAR.exe. You (or someone) will need to implement a method using the PID i think.

Multiboxing war with this hack would be easy. This is, what should I call it...

    Mult1Cl13ntHaX0rz

Which is proving to be a little bit more difficult.

To multi box war, you need 2 accounts. I have 2 full accounts, but trial works also.

Just open WAR normally, go into window mode, resize the window down to smallest as you can get it.

Now run the patcher again, load up the game with 2nd account and another WAR window should open. You can click between the active windows to control which ever character you want. I run a 1900x1200 desktop, and run in the two smallest windows with slight overlapping.

I also have a 2nd monitor, so I can just run both in fullwindow size mode, but that tasks my video card quite a bit when i span across both screens, so I try to keep it on one.

Each WAR.exe has its own PID though, but the names of both WAR.exe windows are exactly the same.

It is hit or miss right now, I know when the are operating independantly from each other, when I can slide the speed bar on one and the other does NOT move. If they both move on the speed slide bar, then both are going to the same window.

I simply mean that by definition multiboxing is usualy over multiple computers or atleast multiple processors.

Also, when I multiboxed WoW I used a program called keyclone. You should check it out. It's not free but was worth every cent. There's a feature in it that also removes window borders and puts your windows on grids, any size you want.

    good luck.

edit: added link to keyclone - http://www.solidice.com/keyclone/

There are none and most likely there will never be any damage hack. Its server side and out of the clients reach.

Actually I'm pretty sure the box in multiboxing doesnt stand for computer but game. The term multiboxing is used to tell people you have multiple instances of the game running, if this is the same pc or not doesnt matter.

    As noted on this page:
Multiboxing - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft
Multi-boxing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Me and a friend are multiboxing in Warhammer and running 6 accounts between the two of us. He's using 2 PC's with 1 account on each, I'm using 2 PC's with 2 accounts on each. I modified the warper slightly to simply get the 2nd process instead of the first (I use eagle eye a lot, love it).

Sadly enough warhammer uses far too many resources (cpu/memory/etc) to multibox beyond 2 accounts per PC. Though I can run 4 accounts on 1 PC if needed, it'll start performing crap. Nothing like WoW where you can easily run 4-5 accounts on 1 PC.

If your looking for good multiboxing software, stop dicking around with stuff like keyclone though. Use InnerSpace, the things you can do in innerspace make keyclone look like a beginner

    I mean check this out:

Nice, 6 accounts lol... so you modified it? Care to share so I can learn?
If I had more time (and interest in WAR), I would try but I'm playing C&C Red Alert3 (hehe) and busy with family...

What I had in mind was to use process IDs like pharme said so when the WARper launches, it would look for process names "war", put them in a listbox and then display them with processID next to them for user to choose which one to "bind." It sounds simple but I'm very new to C#.

Any chance of adding the posibility to load different Locations files?

I've started doing a full quest locations list for order and it's getting to be a chore scrolling through a huge list of points.

If you could load/save different locations.txt files you could have one for rvr, one for quests, one for each tier whatever.. Just a thought.

    Gj by the way.
