Suggestion: Please change your very dishonest business practice.

By this I mean make it so that when you pay with paypal, you pay for 1 year, NOT SUBSCRIBE to 1 year. If I forget about viperbots 1 year from now, it is because I am no longer using it. If I am still using it, I can pay again next year.

It may not have been intended as a dishonest practice, but it is, plain and simple, so please fix this quickly.

The auto subscription is in no way a convenience. It exists for no reason other than to hope people forget about / not notice their subscription and continue paying for a product they are no longer using.

If you buy viperbots, the FIRST thing you need to do is log into paypal, click on details next to "debbie xxxxxxx" and press the cancel subscription button at the bottom of the page. You will still get a year of service but are not 'conveniently' charged again every year, even if you no longer use the products/services.

If you are 100% convinced that you will be using this product for years on end (blind faith in my opinion since the best bots change constantly *cough* glider *cough*), then you should be getting the lifetime subscription they offer for 100$ and not use a subscription service.

I am really surprised at just how much negativity there is on these forums. I visit quite a few, and this one just seems always over the top with people complaining and constantly bitching.

Now granted giving the audience for cheats and the like, I have to assume that most of the people here are probably under 13. There probably needs to be a confirmation when signing up here that you are over the age of 13. Seriously.

I just read through all 13 pages of this and about half of the comments are all negative. (ok, maybe that is stretching the truth, but its close). Maybe it isn't the best bot in the world, but it is doing everything I need it to do.

Totally not directed at you Vellauno, but you were the last poster. She works her ass off from what I can tell, always answering posts, and putting out updates what seems like almost every day. If she wants to charge 100 bucks a day that's fine. If you like it buy it, if you don't, don't. Seems pretty straight forward to me. If the 30 bones scares you away, I believe she posted a alternative a few days ago for monthly or something.

I bought it, and it works. I am happy with it. It does everything I need, which is harvesting. I have it running right now!

@Flipp, yea you can look at the titles of things people have uploaded in the campaigns forum. Most just harvesting paths.. but I think 0-50 for each has been uploaded. But no grinding areas.

OK, I grant you I should have also mentioned the positive. The bot is good. The best there is for FFXIV at the moment and easy to use for even a novice as long as they bother to watch the tutorial videos (which is why I bought it despite the terrible payment issues). Sure there is a lot of room for improvement, but the bot is rock solid for a game that has only been out for a few weeks. The response time for questions regarding the bot is good and updates are frequent.

There is nothing wrong with negative feedback as long as false information is not provided. You will notice most of the negative feedback is either valid payment concerns (because it is in fact the biggest problem with the bot) or just morons who don't bother watching the tutorial videos or checking the viper help forums.

That said, it does not change the fact that the lack of a simple to access monthly/trial payment methods is bad, the forced subscription unscrupulous and dishonest, the price too high, and the method to get monthly subscription purposely convoluted (in order to deter people from getting anything other than a yearly SUBSCRIPTION).

Even though the price is ~10$ too high in my opinion, setting the price is their prerogative so do as you like there. But add the monthly subscription option to paypal (instead of asking people to go to a different website, subscribe to their monthly service, make a post asking for viper access, and then waiting a few days for the moderator from another site to respond each time you pay for a new month), and make subscribing (automatic reoccurring charges by default) optional since forcing it makes you look like a sketchy salesman trying to sell shampoo to a bald man.

Fix the payment issues and you will not seem so unscrupulous (regardless of if it is true or not) before customers even bother to purchase your product. You are getting so much negative feedback here because people are getting angry before they even pay to get the product despite the fact that the bot is good. Paypal is very simple to set up (even as a vendor), so if you don't fix at least the paypal payment issues I will know that you are indeed purposely trying to trick customers (and why would you do that when all the other aspects of your service and bots are good. Why tarnish an otherwise solid product?).

FFXIV is only a few weeks old and I was able to level botany from 1-40 so far without a single time getting stuck and with no more than a couple of minutes to set up. It is no Buddybot, and still lacks features, but I don't expect it to have everything right off the bat and the updates are frequent. It is a very good bot given the amount of development time they have had so far.

On the other hand, as you said, it does not compare to the best bots out there for games with a long development time. Part of my 'problem' with yearly subscriptions however is that the best bots often change (and the other viper bots don't exactly have a track record of being the 'best', they are just quickly released and decent like the GW2 one that was quickly replaced with better alternatives). I don't like paying for something when there is a good chance it will not be the best a few months down the line. If the viper creators had confidence in their product remaining the best, they would not essentially try to force people into 1 year reoccurring subscriptions.

The pricing seems to just scream "I know I will probably only be the best for a month or two, so I need to make you pay for a reoccurring yearly subscription while I still can". There are viper bots for many games, many of them for AAA titles, but do they have the best for any AAA titles that have been out for over a year? They respond to most questions about how to use the bot and how to improve it, but they have yet to defend themselves on my posts about the pricing strategy. Coincidence? I think not. If the viper creator can reasonably rationalize why they force a year subscription on their site, I will delete any mention I made about it here so far for this otherwise solid bot.

FFXIV is just a copy of the other Viper bots imported into FFXIV, how is it possible that a bot has no mount support, that is one of the first things the bot needs.

Now after 1 week theres gonna be fishing. There are at least 3 free bots that already do that. and you can easily do it with an AutoIt script intercepting the GamePad vibration.

The most disappointing thing is that when it is released its gonna be slower than the free bots out there. I dont know if it is 1 guy doing all the viper bots but thats too much work for 1 person therefore the bots aren't that good either.

When the bot mounts up and uses spells, people wont be farming those nodes anymore but farming the Rare Nodes and the bot doesn't have support for that, probably will never have, and the bots who aren't released yet, will most likely have better structure to implement such functions.

Happy to hear that but do you mean that i should just shut up because it works for you ? I followed his video, did everything as it was said and after 2 hours setting up his bot, i got nothing. Should i just shut up ? I did not even get a proper answer after my complain and i should just shut up ? No i will not shut up and if i see a shit, i call it a shit and this bot is a shit.
