Was considering getting this, but as far as I can see, there's no craft botting. I understand that dealing with item condition would make it not ideal for HQing stuff, but just mass crafting stuff for xp, I'd think it wouldn't be too hard. Anyway, keeping my eye on it, but I feel the first thing that can bot crafting will be what I buy.

Yea crafting is definitely a must in this game, since all drops are basically mats. Gonna take a look at it this weekend and see what I can do.

Cool, I'll keep checking up on it then, have stacks and stacks of mats sitting around waiting for a bot more or less, I could probably script some stuff with auto-it to tide me over in the mean time, but time has been rather short lately for me. Regardless, looking forward to it.

Actually I think $30 is fairly cheap all things considered. Maybe you don't consider a bot worth $30 but plenty of people find that to be a steal.

I have a feeling that this is strictly an afk style grind bot though.

@viperbot: I'm considering purchasing a subscription because I noticed your bot supports scripting, but I couldn't find out much else besides that stickied public thread on your forums.

With current scripting is it possible for users to create their own scripts to for example do DPS rotations / automate healing groups in ffxiv? If you're by any chance familiar with Xelper's PQR - Rotation Bot for World of Warcraft, there is a huge amount of potential in doing perfect rotations and healing, and I'd be more interested in writing such scripts than the gathering/grinding features of your bot.

Just gave it a try and I'm not impressed. It takes a ton of setup and a lot of it is counter-intuitive. Setting up the combos is a real pain. Also, the range meter is off. I spent 20 minutes setting up combos for my marauder only to find that setting the max range to 3 for most of my abilities doesn't work because the bot shows all the mobs at 3.4 meters when they are melee attacking me. Should be simple enough to go back and adjust all the ranges right? Nope, you can't edit the range of a combo after it's been created. Yay, I get to start from scratch. Oh, you forgot a zero when converting the delay from seconds to milliseconds? Again, you get to recreate the combo. Now I'm sitting here trying to setup a simple circle patrol, but when I start the bot my character just jumps every few seconds. Maybe someone in the community will build some profiles that work, but until then I'd stay away from this bot. It would be faster to just find a fate group for leveling...

bot broke for me after the update, i usually use this for a grind bot, but now it doesnt patrol instead it is "stuck" and keeps jumping and back paddling trying to unstuck. This is even after a clean install..

It takes most people about 5 mins to get setup. I uploaded a couple of videos showing how to set it up. Might take a look if you are having any setup issues. Made one for melee and one for ranged.
People are starting to upload patrols, but only for harvesting so far. It literally is as easy as pressing auto record, running a circle, clicking on add targets, selecting from a list and save. So pretty easy to make a patrol. Again the hotkeys are easy once you understand how they work, which is why I added some videos showing how its done.

If your char is jumping, you prob changed some of the default game settings for things like auto run,etc. You need to change them in viper too so viper knows what button is the run key.

Its not the best video, but hey I'm learning. What do you guys use for video capture and edit?

I have used Viperbot in the past for SWTOR, the bot does work. It is however VERY botlike, VERY basic.
Good thing is that it works and I was never detected.
Bad thing is that the bot went up in price by 10.00.
I quit playing swtor because the game isn't even worth botting.
well my Viperbot account ran out and I didn't renew it for 20.00 so now I have to pay 30.00?
30.00 is how much I paid for FFXIV, YOU ARE NOT PROVIDING ME A GAME.
As I see it you have a few options.
Miss out on several people who would like to be customers.
Or change your subscription options.
I'm not saying you have to lower your overall price.
Just shorten the duration if you have to.
PLus 30.00 is too much when there is a free option available with many more options.*

Viper has changed a lot since swtor.. I think the swtor bot was what 1.0 still.. try it with ffxiv.

30.00 for a whole year? No thanks. I might not even play this game past the 30 days.
