I think the sellers charged money back
If they paid legit and blizzard would take months away it would be a breach of contract from blizz side.
They could get their lawyers on and/or make it also a pr nightmare with "blizz doesnt hold his own contract and lies about customers breaching contract"
They surely wouldnt want that so im betting on the sellers screwing arround with us.

As far as i know only people, who activated annual passes got their gametime taken.
I have bought some months myself and nothing happened. (6 months)
Also some of my friends who bought 12 months but didn't activate an annual pass had no problems.
Only people with annual passes got the gametime removed.
Seems to me that blizzard is checking everyone who activated an annual pass to make sure they really get their money or something like that.

Again with this, just like when people get banned for botting, you get banned for any illegal thing you do in WoW. Don't be so suprised that when you pay 2 eur/usd for a month you actually are just paying people to fraud the system, and not paying them to legally give you the gametime.

Well I had gotten 12months of RAF for the annual pass...it seems blizzard has decided to remove most of my RAF and still keep me on the contract with the ANNUAL pass and make me pay $15 a month recurring till it ends...Is there anyway to get out of this?I don't even play WoW anymore,and don't see paying $100 + for D3 reasonable...Anyway to cancel the annual pass or whatever?

Didn't your creditcard info get cancelled with the removal of the gametime? Atleast my CC info got cleaned with the removal of the time. (Was set to renew at 01/31/13)

If not, try calling their billing service and make up a sobbing story about you having to cancel the annual pass due to real life economic issues (not being able to pay the rent etc etc) I think some people got out of it that way and blizzard just told them they'll lose all the benefits of the annual pass (mount/D3/MoP beta) You can find the numbers to call here: (you can find american numbers by just scrolling down a bit further below the european numbers)

Well...I sent a ticket after seeing that they charged me today,and told them I didn't understand why they took my raf away from my friends being invited etc etc and how I don't want to pay 15.99 a month for the annual pass since they've done that.

Upon investigation, it appears that the free months of game time that were applied to your account were done so from exploitative RAF accounts. You may want to speak with your friends because it appears they upgraded the trial accounts, and paid for one month of game time, then called the bank to get the charge for that returned.

When that happens the game time is removed, if your friends didn't pay for a month of game time on the upgraded raf accounts, then technically the account that recruited them does not qualify for the free month of game time. Also with the annual pass you did agree to pay for an account for a full year. Funny thing is that this thread starts at 2011.
I believe its fault of RAF seller. Thats 100% dumb to offer 12 months of RAF gametime. This scam is too obvious.
Just wait till D3 will be released and this feature will be available again.

MESSAGE TO A RAF SELLERS. Use different emails for invitations. Dont sell more than 3months at a time. USE UR FUKING BRAIN!!!

I didn't see this thread either at the start,it was my fault too I guess..but didn't expect blizzard to try to ass**** me like this.Also the one month reocurring is on a CC that'll expire next month...would that stop it?
