Error 3005 - "There was an error loading the heroes data" Indictor for upcoming Ban

Hey,

i noticed that during the last big banwave, i had 2 bots running which got error 3005 "There was an error loading the heroes data" one after each other (about 2 or 3 minutes time difference) and 10 minutes later both got banned.

Im pretty sure this error appears when a blizzard employee / gamemaster reviews you account / checks your gear etc.

There are no bans currently, but if you have an eye on your bots when the next banwave hits and you see this error, save your gold / equip asap.

I got this error on the second day of the game's release and also during the first massive server fail after patch 1.0.3's launch. Also occurs sometimes when my latency is horrendous. I didn't start botting until early July (stopped since last banwave). I really doubt the error is a sign of an incoming ban.

This error is most likely related to Blizzard's server issues.

This is just one of the many errors this game got. I've had it one or two times at launch.

Got it last week when my internet didnt work properly so don't think it have anything with bans to do with

i also had this errors at the start, and it definetly says nothing.

just by reading the message and seeing the result i come to this conclusion.

my bots are logging every single error and in more then a month my bots didnt had a single error 3005. also note that the error codes might have changed since those early days.

Just by seeing i only had this error once in a good month on 2 accounts and get banned 10 minutes after is pretty much saying a lot. I have implemented a warning system in my bots scanning for this error and sending me a text message if it occurs and i will definetly observe if i get this error again before my next accounts get banned.

I love seeing people's retardedesque theories. You have a sample size of two accounts, thats a great data set there

I would never say that this error is ONLY triggered when ur account is currently under review, i just say it might be the case.

sure i dont have a case study including 5000 bans where to get it... but the simply case that those error never appeared on those bots before, then appears on 2 bots right before ban (not my other bots did not receive the error and were not banned) as well as taking into account that the text of the error doesnt make it too unpredictable that you cant load the heroes data right now because someone else has just locked it for review or so teaches me a lot.

Also i am not sure if this is 100% correct, this is just a warning to those who might see this error on bots in the future to save their gear for 30 minutes or so because the hammer might come. You dont lose anything but you win a full bottin equip in that case which is not cheap at all .)
