Anyone found a fix to this yet? Tried reverting to old drivers but that didn't help either. This is driving me nuts.

I'm currently trying VirtualBox, instead of VMWare. It's taking a little longer to set up, but will report back with my experience.

Yeah, VirtualBox seemed even worse. Moving on to :shudder: Microsoft Virtual PC

I have the same issue with my Sapphire 7950 OC, I'm only running 1 VM with 1 bot.
I don't think it's a load issue neither temp issue

Whelp, it looks like VMWare is the only competent virtual machine software. All the others I've tried have absolutely sucked for the purpose of running D3 and being able to bot with it.

    Tried

    VirtualBox,
    Windows Virtual PC,
    and Parallels

None of them could handle the game like VMWare could. In a Hail Mary attempt, I'm just going to disable my Eyefinity configuration, and see if that works. I don't game when I'm running my bots anyway, and I can always re-enable it.

This just plain sucks. Having 5+ bots crash an hour after leaving for work, causes me to loose so much money

Had the same issue for the past few days, the following seems to have done the trick, the bold part is the setting change (can change it for specific programs only in the other tab, I chose to do it globally though), it's from what I can gather an issue with power management within the card that bugs it out when switching modes.

Nvidia control panel -> Manage 3D settings -> Global settings -> Power management mode - Prefer maximum performance

Edit: To clarify, it forces your card to not change power states and always run in 3D acceleration mode.

great it fixed ur issues, too bad that setting does not exist on ati drivers and all regular oc tools seem to just crash my pc with stupid asdf ati cards cant wait to get my nvidea cartz today^^

lol xD earo ofc is disabled and the machines are already stripped down :/ please just freakin stop unqualified comments :S as if anyone is using aero in virtual machines, seriously?

    @mmoservices well pretty simple:
    - not everyone has immortal bot licence
    - not everyone wants to use shit crashing DB (especially on hardcore)
    - other bots are just useless crap
    - isboxer and other multiboxing tools doesnt work with autoit
    - autoit is the vey best solution for hardcore botters and its most secure banwise also
    - you dont run 2-3 bots / vm you run 1 bot / vm

But is more safe if you use IB for exemple? You can get ban only in 1 vm ?

Ok, I think I found a fix. The problem went away completely when I increased Vram in the .vmx config file, change svga.vramSize to 268435456 (256mb as opposed to 128mb)
