[Multibox] Unable to connect to game menu

    [Multibox] Unable to connect to game

    I recently made it possible to open 2 clients of D3 by doing the following (suggested in another thread):

    1. Open diablo III install location (Windows 7: C:/Program Files/Diablo III)
    2. Right click .agent.db -> Open with...
    3. Select program from list, select Notepad
    4. Locate:
    "supports_multibox" : false,
    5. Change to:
    "supports_multibox" : true,
    6. Save file
    7. Go to C:/ProgramData/Battle.net
    8. Delete the folder titled "Agent"
    However, I have a major issue with it. Whenever I load in (which takes forever), and when I click resume game, it gives me the error "You are unable to join the game at this time". As I said, it takes a few minutes being frozen to get to this point. I have tried choosing a different character and it does the same thing.

    Anyone running multiple copies of D3 able to toss me some advice?

    I just copied the install folder myself... but not everyone wants to make 8gig copies hehe

    Yeah I copied the install folder as well but it does the same thing. Did you do anything special with the second install folder?

    i got it working but it requires to have copy of d3 catalog. what you need to do is:

    1)copy d3 catalog from program files to another destination and rename it
    2)go to new copy of d3 folder and open properties of diablo3.exe (not launcher!) and add -launch in the target line. should look something like this: "D:\diablo\Diablo III.exe" -launch

    and thats it, works for me
