    Recall your account, I suggest getting it re-merged to a new b-net account as well for extra security.

    Seem like you have fallen for someone using a stolen paypal to steal accounts ( the way you describe your situation sound like the pattern you use ).

    Once you secured your account, just refund the money, you will not be able to keep it as the account is stolen and PP will restore it back to the real owner of the PP anyway ( holding these fund could further hurt your paypal standing and lead to future problems )

    If you want some tips on how to sell your account more securely feel free to PM me.

    Goodluck.

    Have you tried talking to the buyer? It is best to not jump to conclusions.

    Totally agree with remus, talk to the buyer and see what he has to say, if hes offline try catch him ingame if you get no reply then recall the acount, if you recall the account and he was legit just had a few problems you will be the one that is classed as the scammer so be careful, here a few tips to stay safe selling your account;

    1) Speak to him on the phone.
    2) Ask him if his paypal is verified.
    3) Ask him to send you a email from his verfied paypal.
    4) Ask him for some ID which matches the name on his paypal.

    If he fails to provide all 4 of these he most proberly a scammer. The ID matching the paypal is the most important, without this theres no way to tell whos paypal hes using (There are alot of clever scammers out there what can provide all these and still be using a fake paypal, but alot dont do all this just for a wow account but it does happen)

    Imo best way is to not use paypal, use moneybookers or bank to bank safest way and even using these methods always ask for a phone call and ID.

    I do, I have nothing to fear- 1) they don't have my SS. 2) they don't have my signature. 3) I don't give out specific details.

    and NOT asking for ID from a shady person in the first place- is just dumb. Same goes for the sellers ID to verify being the OO.

    People are often confused by this because PayPal are never quite as clear as they should be. The reason it's set to reserved is because PayPal occasionally choose random payments to inspect and make sure they're legit. An anti-money-laundering process, basically. During this time, they hold the payment for 2-3 days for the inspection.

    There are other reasons for this, e.g. Payment made from a stolen account, payment reversed, etc. But they are much more obvious and with reversal there will be an option when you are trying to "resolve" the case to issue a refund now. If the payment was made from a stolen account then you should have been notified about it in the email(s), so read carefully.

    If the reason for this was the FIRST, you can leave it. You don't need to resolve the case, even if it asks you to. Just ignore it until the status is back to normal again, it'll be fine .

    Hope this helped.
