anyone have a script to negate the afk kick?

For those of you who uses a Mac. It's extremely easy to negate AFK kick. Just bring up your build-in Automator (under utility), and use the recording function (Big red record button on top right). It will record your mouse movement and keyboard hits, which allows you to auto script something to avoid AFK. Keep this simple. I've simply recorded to bring Diablo screen up then hit "i" which brings up inventory. So simply hit the record button, bring up diablo and hit "i", then stop the recorder. Yep it's that simple! I've also added Loop (under utility and simply drag it over from the left under the recorded action), then set the loop to something like 999min or when ever you would like to stop.

This worked for me, but as with Paragon leveling, as soon as you level you would have to rebalance your regen, or you die. I've also had many cases where there's a variance (which you always have as regen only does whole number) and die or gets over 10% life after several hour or so.

I know many people don't play on Mac, but for those of you that do, or would simply use a mac for AFK leveling it's a very simple way to create script. If anyone has any questions please let me know.

Last night my friend and I were setting up the 2p game. I am able to get in the slot and set my regen correctly. We were stable in the Survivor bonus. For some reason, last night though it kept disconnecting. I had a key pressed to keep casting sprint every time cooldown was up. My friend was running an anti-AFK script. After 30-40 mins it would disconnect us both at the same time. I was able to get it to work twice in the past, but for some reason when running in a multiplayer game it keeps disconnecting. I'm not sure if Diablo was having trouble yesterday or if I'm doing something incorrectly. Any help would be appreciated.

Not working for me on act 2 (nightmare). Fixed few hours ago, not just after the patch.

im on US have you done this before maybe you are not doing it correctly? it took me awhile to figure it out myself this is done with having less than 10% of your health in order to get the survivor xp bonus

they are about to do some maintenance lets see if its patched afterwards on US

Sure, 24h stable under 5% (bot inc). I reached 2-3 levels with this method. Currently Im getting 0 bonus, no image alert, no sounds. Maybe its patched on EU. It was working just after the patch.

EDIT:NOW ITS WORKING. It's like some kind of bug. I think it's related with my gear.

There is a bug since at least 1.0.4 that you don't get survival bonus in a game sometimes but a reload should fix it. This is still working in just fine in US

I can confirm it's still working. I would think if you are still getting disconnect it may have to do with your connection to the server. It was very laggy yesterday. Did anyone noticed that they said they were going to restart but never did??? I kept playing right through 5am PST to 7am PST no restart on US server whatsoever.

Hello all! This is my first post here, so forgive me if I miss things.

Confirmed, still working on US.

I figured a good way to do this so that you balance nearly perfectly. Be on normal, as it's just easier and diff doesn't change survival xp. Buy all gear slots except rings/ammulet with +res and just about anything else BUT vitality. The more vitality you have, the more the trap does. Less is more when it comes to the numbers game in this case. Clear the area then stand on the cross, as in the picture. It does need to be the first cross, as it's easier to get the sweet spot, after you kill the mini boss right after you start the quest "lord of lies" (last a2 quest). Notice the dmg you take per 'burst'. Try and change out armour pieces to get a nice round number. I personally fiddled with things until I took 300 per 'burst' on the cross. As someone in this post said, I also confirmed, it's 5 seconds between bursts. Divide the ammount of dmg you take by 5, and that's how much life per second you need to break even. In my case that was 60, so I found a 60 regen ammy and have been afking this with no problems for the last several hours. No micro managing or fiddling. Because rings/ammy's don't add armour value they are easy to just put on to negate the dmg. If you use real gear, the armour values are changing all the time as well. On the rings/ammy you buy make sure it has complete garbage on it otherwise. No main stat (but dex as it does nothing defensively), and no res. Just straight life regen. The longest part is fiddling with your armour to get a nice rounded number. This is why lower vitality is better, as the trap does less and tends to even out. If you can balance the dmg numbers to be even, instead of odd numbers, you'll have an easier time. You could do this with +vit if you want, the same concept would apply. You would just be dealing with larger numbers.

I have noticed on a few of my characters that having the exact number may make you ever so slowly die. I went down about .3% in about 30min or so with a break even number. So my guess is having 1 may make you slightly gain, or balance perfectly. Hard to say at that point.
