ZK botters are now being banned - BE WARNED!

It's easy for them to check who exploits this. Just check who gets consistent x amount of XP and Gold in a span of X time.

A bunch of people botting ZK were banned today, including myself who lost 5 accounts.

Note that I had never used any exploitation outside of AutoHotKey (private script) and ZK runs. I played normally, one was my main account, 4 friends of mine, and I was in Inferno Hardcore Act 2. I played, and botted at night for backup characters and gold using only ZK.

They're probably banning for suspicious activity. This is the FIRST wave that has affected ZK bots! Be warned

nope.. 24/7 .. but i guess they banned because of the exploit too, because after the last patch i botted just a few hours.

Nope. i play Hardcore and havent used that exploit once, or any other exploits for that matter (Unless gear switching macros count as an exploit). Guess it was a Warden auto ban

How the hell do you think it isn't against the TOS for the game (hence illegal)? Botting is against the blizzards rules.... If you were caught botting and you got banned then it is your own fault for being stupid to be honest.

Depends on the Country you are located in. USA no it is not illegal, Korea on the other hand...

Some randomsleep in your private autoit infinite zk script?

Note: My roommate got banned using a private script (one that I made) that has a sleep timer 45 minutes on 45 minutes off. He got the banstick, I did not. We ran it the same amount of time. Sleep timers do not save you, unless you happen to be lucky and your script is sleeping as they are scanning (me).

i wonder what their exact methods are. i am doing the same as you I am on hardcore and botting up backupchars for me and my friend. i have leveled maybe like 8 chars this way or so. I have not been banned. I even did it last night although one of the clients crashed so i only got like 40min of script time after i went to bed.

Do you think they would catch and ban people for opening up too many games too quickly...and thus conclude you were botting and ban you.

AKA if you were botting with a private script in a spot nobody has ever mentioned but still creating and closing games as quick as sarkoth or quicker
