okay this is an engenious scam!!!! seriously if i were in America i would sue Blizzard for leaving such a serious loophole in the system.
for those who dont know here is how it works:
the guy creates a clean account on battle.net with diabloe 3 starter edition, then he will initiate a purchase of the standard edition, for which he never intended to pay, and that is where the loophole kicks in. Blizzard are dumb enough to actually grant you the standard edition upgrade whilst the payment is still PENDING, so you will see that the account really is equipped with a d3 standard edition when you first time log into your account. you will think everything is alright and you will be happy to pay. and here comes the SHOCK!!! in about an hour when the system is unable to lift the money from the bank account of the scammer (apparently), Blizzard will send you an email notification that your purchase is incomplete and will suspend your d3 account at the same time. WHAT PURCHASE, I DIDNT PURCHASE ANYTHING from Blizzard? then i realized i have been had.
the guy is very polite, he insists that he will fulfill his end of the deal first and the scam is so good because of that loophole, that most people will not even suspect. he will not give you any codes saying he doesnt want to risk that you will use the code and say that the code doesnt work. and when i said if he gives me the acc details i can lock him out in 2 mins if i wanted to, so why not just give me the key, he said he records everything on video. this guy has an answer for everything, even if a bit suspicious (i guess i wanted the account too hard), instead he will do everything for you. he will create an email address, then he will share all login data of the email account and the battle.net account and even urges you to change passwords. well changing the password will not save you as the above will indicate. it might be an old thing, but if it isnt, please start spreading the word. it really is a well contemplated scam based on Blizzard's complete ignorance. thank you Blizz for letting me get ass-raped.
