that is true, but there will come a point when they will nerf every possible spot. The only other thing to do I would imagine is to wait for a possible expansion pack, where new spots would open up.

lol, i dont think they will do that, with the current gear you are using to farm sarkoth now, you can farm easily if u farm in nightmare or hell? they just dont want us to repeatedly spawn camp some area like sarkoth i guess.

I have never been able to efficiently farm 'legit' on any game. Like I said, I can spend 100s of hours playing legitimately, yet only gather a couple million gold, which is nowhere close to a lot of the really good gear. I have played my barb over 100 hours so far, and before the script, I only accumulated a couple million gold. I would have to do the entire campaign over and over and over and over and over again just for one item.

I don't know how people play legitimately and get enough gold in such short times. It boggles my mind. I mean... what can you do besides play the campaign? I mean really? What is so special the way they are doing it? Are they just searching for goblins or something 24/7. I'm not doing something so repetitious.

well to be honest, I really hope that they do not nerf sarkoth, its like the only safe place to farm some decent gold and occassional ilvl 63 rares.

I wonder how many people are going to migrate from Diablo 3 to Torchlight 2. I heard that game has what it takes to mop the floor with Diablo 3. I haven't seen too much other than tidbits of gameplay, but I'm interested.

I pre-order torchlight 2. Because the real developers of D2 aka Blizzard North left Blizzard, several of them started their own companies, one of them makes torchlight series now

Just last week they patched sarkoth made him attack back added more mobs around the cellar IF they nerf him i would expect it to be lower gold drop or either decreased spawn rate of the cellar both of which still make it viable to bot just less gold income but still better then the option of actually going to farm stuff if you do not have the time.

I sure hope you are right and that they don't do something ridiculous like make the GPH 20,000 gold with 280% GF xP. yea...

I'm searching through the thread for an answer, but my problem is I followed the guide, hit = to run the script and it goes and clicks resume, loads into game and the character just sits there then eventually it clicks leave game and repeats. No errors or anything, and I've tried running the bot and autoit on both x86 and x64, my machines Win7 x64.

The logs are just:

Not Found - DisconnectError
Expects - MainMenu
Found - MainMenu
Runs: 1, Manage In: 100
Not Found - DisconnectError
Expects - OldRuins
Not Found - OldRuins
Not Found - DisconnectError
Expects - MainMenu

Make sure your DLL is installed correctly.
Remake your own OldRuins PNG file.

Most likely its just the Old Ruins PNG, since you are finding the Resume Game button. Use Paint.Net if you dont have a good editor.

After installing Paint.Net
1. Print Screen (take a screenshot)
2. Open Paint.Net -> Paste image into Paint.Net
3. Use the magnifying glass and zoom in on Old Ruins.
4. Use the Rectangle Select tool.
5. Draw a square around The Old Ruins.
6. Click on Image > Crop To Selection
7. Now zoom to 3200
8. Use the pencil tool and black out as much as you can. Leaving pure white or mostly pure white squares.
9. Save the image in your pics.

I just cut out the word "The" since The Old Ruins was giving me issues.

I think that is bull if you ask me. It takes me hours/days WITH the script just to get a single item I need. Without Sarkoth, it will take me weeks upon weeks (maybe even months) just to get a single item maybe. That is something I will NOT do. I played for over 100 hours on my barbarian which is my first character long before I ever even knew about botting, and during that WHOLE time I only accumulated maybe 2-3 million gold. I am not going to play an extra 3,000+ hours to get the money I need. Blizzard can go kiss my (insert non-friendly word here).

The only legitimate reason I can think of as to why nerf these exploits is b/c you could make easy money through the RMAH (which imho is a mistake in itself). While I understand there are some people like this out there, I myself have never used botting to take advantage of the RMAH. I would feel too guilty taking people's money when all I did on my part was sleep for 8 hours and get a few million gold to sell. They shouldn't have even made the RMAH if you ask me. That's practically sugar coated robbery and an indirect way to inflate gold prices in the AH.

Man... I really do not like corporate America, Blizzard being a corporation after all. We could run just as smoothly if not better without these 'big dogs' in suits calling the shots.

Yep this is the problem, gold farmers are inflating the value of gold by putting billions upon billions everyday into the economy. Yet with the increased repair bills it's harder to actually make legitimately. Without small runs like sarkoth it's going to be REALLY tough to upgrade anything, will probably take months, unless you can play 8-10 hours a day.

It's why so many people are quitting. You can't play legitimately, you need to either buy gold, buy off the RMAH (lol), bot or farm 10 hours per day. Problem is farming sucks too because the drops are garbage, people have had enough. I've probably farmed for about 20 hours in act 2 inferno, haven't got 1 decent drop I could even sell for a decent profit.

That's why people are stopping to play this.

I know you said you tried changing the dlls but have you tried putting all the dlls in the windows folder and the system folder instead of 1 at a time and then running as x64 thats what I had to do to make it work for me

Edit: can you post your pictures and the script you are using and i will give it a try and see what it does for me.
