the other guys has a point. when its a massive 500,000 account BANWAVE based on DETECTION, your crying doesn't do much. historically no unban service works in these cases, and in fact you see the unbanners state in their threads that things like the Pirox Archaeology banwave is not something they have any success with.

Lots of people are very scared and confused with unban tickets so a service does something useful for them. Personally I don't believe GMs pay close attention to WTF you write and then unban you if your sobstory essay is an A+ Grade, and if it sucks the ban goes on. They unban if the evidence is not conclusive.

Lol not really. All the changes they made since mop came out, especially making leveling easier, made wow be more casual. It helped dissipate the turbo nerd stigma that it gained from all those news stories of the addicts ruining their lives. For a long time you had to turn your wow time into a part time job to progress anywhere. Now you can actually pick it up, play for a little while and then stop playing without feeling guilty about it. It really opened itself up to a much broader audience. They've gained many subscriptions is what I mean. Now they may lose many because of the banwave, but with WoD right around the bend, they're just going to gain them right back, not to mention the box sales at launch. Jeez, they're really making a killing. The ban wave will not hurt them one bit, gotta love the size of their cojones. And they can totally justify it with the ol' 'improving the experience of the other players' bit. .. there's always one butthole that exploits the exploit and uses it for pvp even though they know they risk exposure...

The question of the day is: do you <i>really</i> want to play a game where you can't use tools to make life easier?
Now I can't imagine actually pressing buttons to cast skills, worrying about cc, keeping up on my DoTs timer, and then woops your dead because you weren't paying enough attention to the boss or w.e

Don't ever appeal a 72 hour suspension, especially during a banwave. They won't lessen them ever, and you're pretty much admitting guilt.

don't forget the insta lvl 90... i think that's the main reason why they banned us all now. they'll launch the pre sale some time soon and with it the paid lvl 90 feature to suck us dry

5: Detailed info: Recieved a email, thought it was the usual phishing until it said WOW4 which is the name of my account, then tryed to log... yup, Im 72 hour ban, Sorry without PQR I wont be playing, cancelling account and moving on, Ive been extremely bored anyway.

5: Detailed info: Wife tried logging on and got the message that the account was closed. A bummer for sure since I've been using it since Dragon Soul. Another vanilla account is toast like most of you. First offense ever on the account. I had developed pretty severe carpal tunnel from playing so much WoW (62 days played on my priest in Vanilla) over the years that this really helped me get back into competitive raiding. No big deal. I'd actually surpassed 365 days /played on all toons combined so I suppose its time to move on anyhow.

Thanks for the tool that allowed me back in the game.

5: Detailed info: Used Failroad PVE on my Fury/ CuteOne feral/ Mavmins Destro lock, and yes I was using the interrupts. Was playing this morning, logged out and went to work and got the emails there. I can't try to appeal until I get home (not worth going around the firewall at work) but I did know the risks. I know several people in my guild have to be gone now too unless it was pvp only.

Bye WoW....I was 2 hours of questing away from my legendary cloak too....
