This all happened after you took the file. Like many others, you took the file, ran it, couldn't get what you wanted, and then complained.

Does it say "recent"? No, it clearly says "Reason: Updated." You didn't read it properly and assumed it said "recent."

Now you're mentioning the old method you've used for a month. You see the new method, then claim you can't tell the difference between what's new and what's old. But for a whole month, you've been using the old method!

And why would I say "extract the guides to \Addons"? They are not an addon. I told you to extract them to the RXP folder because they are guides, not addons. By claiming they're an addon, you're misunderstanding. Does the word "Guides" imply "addon"? No, it doesn't. They're guides, and as I said, they go in the RXP folder because they are not an addon.

You say you're here for information on the new method/folder structure, but the post clearly stated to "extract to the addons directory." Clearly, you're having some difficulty with that and are blaming me for it.

Unlike you, others didn’t make the mistake of extracting the guides to the addon directory, because they understood that was wrong.

And by the way, I'm not your "Bro," and thankfully, we're not related. I'm glad that never happened.

You keep asking what’s old and what’s new. After using the old method for a month, now you can't even tell the difference when you see the new one. That's not me assuming anything—it's your actions. You said the guides go in the addons directory; I never said that, but you still did it.

So please don't blame me for your actions, or your lack of them.

1. I posted my original question 1 hour ago, asking if I no longer had to backup the "RestedXP\Guides" directory before utilizing your new download link. I also indicating I do not need help with downloading or extracting, nor did I say what i downloaded and extracted wasn't working. I simply asked - the file I downloaded is now a new folder name and should be placed in a separate folder at the root of the Addons path is clearly a new instruction - at the same time, advising me to backup the Guides folder, update the Addon in Curse and then move the Guides folder back over. Because both of those instructions existed, I was asking for a copy of the original Guides folder you had offered for download.

2. You then tried to be slick and update that post 24mins ago, removing that last sentence - which you clearly knew was confusing - but try to deflect as if I was out of pocket and now reading your instructions. Forum timestamps don't lie, but its funny you try to spin that on me as if I didn't read your instructions written. Which prior to your update, was last updated 20hours ago (still with old/instructions). Classic!

3. I am fully aware it isn't an Addon, I know it is content within an Addon... you're trying to deflect the main focus of my original post here with petty Symantec's.

4. "I told you to extract them to the RXP folder because they are guides.." CORRECT, You advised us to extract these guides into the "RestedXP\Guides" folder. And now you are telling us to extract a completely renamed folder to the root of \Addons\. So it is evident, that instructions have changed without any explanation. Which poses questions?

i.e. If 2+2 has always been 4, but next week you write 2+2 is 10, just because you edited the post with something new, doesn't mean that is reality or correct, which poses a question on a change -- without reason or instruction as to why your instructions are different.

You are more focused on where and how something is downloaded vs explaining to people there has been a change and why! Is all I have been typing about.

You edited your post, because you knew it was misleading. So yes, you are the blame, no one else is at fault for following what you now consider "old" instructions. Perhaps you should have updated that when you last uploaded your new guides on 2/3/2025 (20hrs) ago. But guess what, you didn't... and now you salty people are asking you about this change.

Just like I know exactly what you wrote and now tried to hide by editing all of your posts with "Not worth it." If it wasn't worth it, why did you feel the need to write them and then delete them?

Seems like the rat is trying to hide all of his cheese now and then snitch on false accusations.

Multiple people have called out how you speak to them with arrogance - its evident more than one is experiencing responses this forums Mods should be focused on buddy.

Like a dumb dumb I updated my addon and it saved over all of the files.

I just want to say thank you for supporting us with all of these files. I will wait patiently for the update.

When they cannot get what they want, as above then they say something.

Someone said it is down.
I said I know it is down and I am fixing it.
You say it is down.
I say I know it is down someone mentioned it above.

Now you say I do misunderstand you, seeing you are saying it is down and I am saying I am aware it is down I already replied above.
