I think everyone who can't get it installed is missing one very important aspect on top of the step mentioned above. This is also one I have not seen mentioned anywhere or maybe not enough...
- Extract into the Addons folder WITHOUT the initial "RXP Leveling Classic/Era/Retail" folder. Your Addons folder should contain

1. RXPGuides - addon
2. RXP Leveling - guide from BlueRainSky
- The "RXP Leveling" folder should not have another RXP Leveling subfolder, and only contain the folders w/ the guides.. i.e: "Era, HC, SOD & RXP Leveling.toc file" if you're looking for era.

This is what worked for me after much reading here

If people download the right file, it is 1 folder inside, and that goes in the add-ons.
But for some reason, people want 1 addon.
Instead, downloads them all, which puts them all in a zip file. Then, when they extract it, they are putting the .rar in the folder.
Just proving that people will download anything and never check or wonder why they get viruses online.

Or they download the right file for the right game. Then strip out all my files and put it in the wrong place.
Or they will extract the folder from the wrong place.

When I ask, Why did you do that. They say nothing because it would be admitting they took the file, did not read and thought they knew what to do.

But people manually install addons daily.
But to do the exact same thing, people seem not to do the exact same thing. When told to do the exact same thing.
Then people want a whole tutorial to be made for something they already know what to do. But do not do it when they already know.

I was just wondering if there are other ways to add specific guides? I see streamers using certain guides like "Duo 1-12" or someones name who created a specific guide. Is there a database to download those from?

Yea you can add them easily, that is if the streamer will let you have a copy of it.

Well you never said if you still have the addon or not. Seeing you reinstalled it. You never said if you removed it. Seeing people install over the older file and merge them and wonder why it does not work

I mentioned that in my post, step 1 was uninstalling, step 2 was removing the saved variables files.

Why do you and everyone else keep on putting it in the addons folder, when I never said to. Also I said not to as well.
But when I ask why you do what I said not to and never said to. People do not want to answer.

Well seeing you have completely messed up the installation. Instead of doing it the one right way the first time.

Have you removed everything of the addon and manually installed it with no updater?

You have to OPEN the Leveling guide in 7zip and then extract the leveling file from there so there is not a layer of files, after doing that it worked. A mistake that can be easily made. If you made this mistake simply delete the leveling guide and go back to 7zip and open it first then extract it to the addon folder

This part confuses me because when you extract the folder, to the addons folder.

It would only extract what I have inside.

No idea how people are making it be another folder. Seeing any time people extract something, it extracts the contents and not making another folder on top of that.

I believe that they said on their discord it will be avalible during prepatch and full guide a few days before expansion but im not 100% sure cause idk anyone who has bought the full guide
