Hey Glitchy - first off this has saved me soo much time in comparison to the old Hex edit with xvi32!

I have gotten all of my gear changed, but when I try to change my mount nothing happens.

First off I believe, and am pretty sure, that I have MEF setup correctly.

I have all the MEF files in my WoW folder, and have the patch-6.mpq in my data (the one for the mount swap - notably epic wyvern to pvp netherdrake) and have named patch-6.mpq in my wowme.cfg via notepad.

I run wowme.exe as admin since I am on Vista Home Premium on a 32x system. I press F8 and log in - but no new mount.

I can't tell if it's a problem with Glitchy or the MEF. The forum I got MEF from confirms several people on Vista are able to use it, but whether or not they use Glitchys.... I don't know.

Do you think I should run Glitchy's as Admin to create the necessary mpqs?

Update: I ran MES 2.1 as Admin and created a new mount file for UD Epic Horse to an Elekk and it didn't work. I was only running that modified mpq, and it was also the only one listed in my wowme.cfg as patch-7.mpq. It was odd however because running wow through wowme.exe as admin would give me the error if I didn't push F8 before logging in. However, pushing F8 before logging in didn't cause anything to change in wow.

Then i dont think that you should try model edit.
Anyway MEF aka Model Edit Fix is an executable file that allows you
to load custom MPQ files.

Thank you for making our lives easier. I am new to model editing and I can't wait to get home and make all those changes I have been wanting to make for o long. Curse you blizzard for not allowing armor dying/coloring in game.

Please tell me that this program is not a key logger or anything... I would be really disappointed. This is such a cool program, I just changed the dwarf male race to Nightelf male's

But I wonder if I should change my password and reinstall my PC now, after seeing the screenshots this guy above me just posted.

Btw; if this turns out to be a false alarm, I would really like to know, how to change the race>race of just your own character. (Instead of ALL dwarfs in the entire game to nightelfs, just my own:P)

Its not a keylogger. Glitchy is one of the best members here. And programing sometimes gives false positives.
