[Question] Glitchy's MES WDB Editor

Hey all, relatively new to the site and editing in general, but so far I'm really enjoying it. I have gotten the hang of all of the non-advanced options on Glitchy's AMAZING program and have tinkered around with the advanced section too. However, I noticed after 2.4 came out today that the WDB Editor was a little buggy. Is this something wrong with my itemcache file or just a side effect of a new patch coming out?

Notice the chopped names.

Also, when the program doesn't error out, I load my armory and click my helmet and it find the item perfectly, but will not skip to the next item when, for example, I click my shoulders.

It still converts fine, just slightly annoying to manually search :> and was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem or if it was a problem with the program/side effect of the patch.

Blizzard added spaces to some of the names. I just deleted my item cache. I then restarted wow and used the new item cache and I didn't get an error message. Hope that helps.

Glitchy will probably come out with a patch soon, but hes on vacation.

Yeah it doesn't error when I delete itemcache and log back in, but the names are still cut off. That's just a side effect of the patch and will be fixed though? I'm just trying to make sure I personally haven't done anything wrong ^____^

Edit for clarification: Not saying Glitchy is doing anything wrong at all, his work is amazing

Delete your Itemcache, log into wow, then try to find the items you want to switch eventho they got ' in the name, might get lucky lol

The names will still be cut off, but at least it doesn't crash. Glitchy needs to update his program for 2.4. He will when he returns. The names are cut off for everyone; its not just you . Hope that helps. It goes in alphabetical order so you should be able to find it.

You can, there is a new MEF in the Bots and Programs section. It is sorta glitchy, but it works. Don't capitalize p in patch-#.MPQ and capitalize .MPQ and it should work with the MEF. Make sure that the MEF is in your wow root folder.

New Version of MES Is out that fixes the 2.4 WDB item catch bug. Seems bliz tried to cut down on loading time and removed a lot of data from the itemcatch. It even seems they removed the sheath location of the model. I have made a version that only swaps the visual id until i am able to locate the Sheath id in the item catch. But its looking like they removed it completely.

Edit: Well, I have no idea if this helps or not, but in the "old" version of your MES, I used sheath during the 2.4 patch and it worked fine. Not sure if that helps anything but just letting you know :>
