I've done everything that I need to do and when I'm logging in, the model changes properly on my character screen, but when I go ingame it automatically just exits my WoW (with no error). What is wrong?

EDIT: UPDATE: I just got in and was able to see my character for like 20 seconds but then WoW randomly closed again.

I have this same problem. Trying to mount or to conjure some mana biscuts causes it to crash back to the desktop. If I leave it alone it will crash after a few minutes on its own. I can still attack, cast damage spells, and teleport though. It seems like the animation that you do while you mount (or craft an item, etc) causes it to crash. I've tried doing this guide world-for-word twice, having deleted everything and restarting from scratch with the same result. This is with a UdF > DrF conversion.

it seems that BLZ changed something about m2 and blp files to cause this problem. At some places you will get this nasty problem. I am not sure about this but I think it is caused by luna events & NPCs. In addition, I found this problem only happened in Major city, so put your HS at some where else and try not go to major city unless you have to...

One more thing, if you get this problem. put you MPQ file out of the data folder. log on and escape from where you are...then it will work again.~~~ the MPQ file still works fine while I am raiding, BG arena...

For the people who the game crash when they try to perform any action like mounting or create items, it because some of the files needed to create the animation are in the common-2.MPQ file of the game.

To fix the problem, you need to include all the files which are in Common.MPQ, Common-2.MPQ, Lichking.MPQ, expansion.MPQ, patch.MPQ and patch-2.MPQ into the character folder. Follow just the procedure explain in the main topic with all the .MPQ files. I hope that i tried to explain is understandable :x

It seems that this problem happens for people who recently installed or re-installed WoW but I'm not sure.

2nd EDIT : I noticed that some of the files inside the MPQ file are now in caps. The Batch Renamer WON'T change the name unless it's written in the correct "size". I noticed this when I tried to change my Human Female to a BloodElf Female : inside my Bloodelf Female Folder, there were some BLOODELFFEMALEFACEUPPER.blp files whereas the human female ones were in smaller text (HumanFemaleFaceUpper for example). The problem is that the batch rename doesn't rename the file if the demande isn't in caps. I don't know if this problem only occurs for me, or if it occurs for everyone, but I just wanted to inform. Maybe i'll need to search a little bit more to see if the problem only concerns BloodElf Female skins.

ok..., did everything you said included all .MPQ files and when I enter the game and I want to click a NPC too buy something or just for no reason my wow crashes and I get an "Don't Send" error....
anyone?

i got about half way through your guide with no problems.. except when i make patch-4.mpq and import the - new text doc. it only has Just the text doc in the left hand colum.. there is no Charactor folder or anything..and i try to import charactor folder and it doesnt work. anything i done wrong>

(tried to do tauren male > BE male)
i did this and the files that ended up in the tauren male folder wer odd
2 of em were blood elf, the rest were still Tauren
i start wow, my taurens face was kinda pink on some parts, i type /lol
and BAM, my character explodes, stretching to every corner of the universe then wow crashes.
Any help?

Some how the ME fix, is different then the one you show in your guide. says here just press F8 and i am fine, nothing about the other stuff. Can any tell what the prob is ??
