This is pretty wierd, i have tried many different .MPQ but noone seem to work, and im pretty sure im doing it the right way.

I got a question, if i download a .MPQ that someone else have made, do i simply put in my data folder and renaming it "patch-4.MPQ" It's nothing else i have to do right?

I have a problem launching it I think, I've done everything you've said and when I'm about to start wow from ME.fix (I renamed it) then wow starts, and then I press "End", then I write my information and it says that I have the wrong verison or something, then I press F8 to close down that black box, then I log in and it works, but the model change doesnt work :S

I did all things as the guide but nothing happened. Actually i experienced that my framerate raised by 10fps. I dont know how but it happened. So thx anyway.

this thread was made 2007 thats way before wotlk so the models WILL not work.

Followed the guide perfectly, but not getting a change in game. It's as if the patch doesnt register. Any suggestions?

Pookie said it's up to date, so it cant be that the models dont swap correctly.

Which version of IrfanView was used in this guide? I believe i have a newer version, since i have no clue how to use the program because of the interface is different then the guide. Other then that i believe im doing the guide perfectly. -thx

I've fixed everything now..
Altough one thing that doesn't work for me is
BeF > NeM. Could anyone hook me up with it so i have all collections?

This worked to some extent - I was able to do model edits, but after a few minutes of actively playing the game, black lines would come out of my character, crashing the client.

How can I resolve this?

Can anyone make me Nightelf Female - Troll Male , so i can see that it works

I have now found the culprit. Everytime my character uses the /talk emote (talking to an NPC would do the same thing), the game crashes.

How can I alleviate this issue?
