So, again a little update: Started the spawning of objects with the first steps of the UI. Its the preview of the model that will be spawned. It was very bad to make. I need to render it to a texture first and then render a quad with that texture so that it gets displayed as 3D in the 2D space of the UI separated from the rest of the world. But yeah, it worked (i know, in the screen it looks like 2D, but the tree is 3D, trees are just not that much 3D-like :P)
