Files like wow-update-13287.MPQ contain only partial data which then gets added to the main MPQ.
As a lot of people were discussing and posting suggestions about the UI i decided to now first present my plan to look what you think. Its easier to implement the stuff you say now then afterwards
Basically this is only a raw concept, images are only chosen to show you how its arranged. Most likely i will change them and chose better fitting ones. But thats the general concept:
You have that toolbar which can be hidden and restored as you like. You can also choose that it automatically disappears if you put out the mouse of it and it restores when the mouse is near enough the border. This is of course optional. In the toolbar you have a various amount of icons. I decided to use icons instead of buttons as they make the program look friendlier. These icons can be rearranged in a config file which allows you to choose icons which you can good remember. Now, thats all about the UI _INSIDE_ the editor. Pressing such an icon in most cases opens an external window, which is placed on top of the main window. You can freely move it around (of course also outside the window) and change whatever you like to. This allows me to make an intuitive user interface without using a lot of space inside the main area. What do you think?
quandratic.. OMFG OMFG OMFG nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! square moulding will give us opportunities to make the most spectacular terrains![]()
Welll, that quadratic means, that the interpolation satisfies an equation of the form f(x) = a1 * x^2 + a2 * x + a3![]()
I like it Cromon!
Sig removed by admin... upload elsewhere as that hosting site is marked malicious
Layout of the toolbar is finished. It shows and hides automatically. The button which will follow top right will make it able to be pinned.
Starting with the adt-stuff now![]()
Outstanding, cromon.

Now, I've been wondering something for a pretty long time already, so I might just aswell ask. Sorry if it's been asked already, I might have missed it.
Will it be possible to configure your own keybinds, personally I'm kinda used to the noggit way of worldbuilding, so I'd personally would like it to configure them should I switch to Yiasedit at some point.
Hey bud. I went on the site, I downloaded it from here YiasEdit - 3.X Mapeditor - BETA - Yias :: Programmierung, Netzwerke, Server, WoW. But I can't figure out the password. Is it what's actually hidden in the hidden for insufficient privileges box?
if you have a password you are taking a wrong version from the site! But you should wait so far until i released a real update to have a stable one again!
So far im reversing what blizzard did with the alpha values. They actually arent compressed like in WOTLK anymore, so thats pretty annoying...
