Meh this post is stickied so I'm not necroing...

I'm not sure if this is due to the fact that I am running vista but this is my problem: I follow you're guide perfectly fine until the very end where you need to save the .DBC file... When I try to save it, it comes up with an error somewhere along the lines of: "Unable to cast object of type 'System.DBNull' to type 'System String'."

I have tried running as admin but it hasn't worked...

try using another DBC editor or even an dbc <-> csv converter and convert to csv, edit what you need in notepad and just convert it back.
i don't have any dbc tools at all atm so i can't upload anything for you but it should not be too hard to find on google.

Thanks for the quick reply ^^ however... I just tried the DBC<>CSV and no luck... Access violation error... Times like these I hate Vista...

If you come up with anything else please tell... And I know your on holiday (I think that was it, and you o_O, My apologies if I'm wrong) but if you think of anything that could be the cause don't hesitate to post =P

SOLVED!!@!@!!! I was trying to REMOVE a texture as the model I was changing it to had less textures... So I went through saving every step I did and it was that step that made my computer glitch... Removing a texture... So kids, DON'T remove textures, It's bad for you!!! =P

Um quick question, i did everything properly yet when i start up wow i instantly get an error. I followed the guide perfectly, any solutions?

Did everything step by step saved closed mpq to data forlder using latest fix . When i run it though i get the small black screen cursor changes a bit and then nothing.

Any ideas on what's going on ? As i see many people have the same problem so a clear solution or suggestions please.

Wow never starts up when I have my MPQ in the data folder, I have the 3.0.3 fix aswell.

Followed the guide very nice, allthough i start up wow with latest wowme but i get a black screen for a few sec then wow quits i don't get to loggin side or anything same problem as Faerun888 and probably the same as Fidena too please help.

Alright, my problem, as it seems a few others are having, is immediatly upon launching WoWME, the WoW client flickers on briefly, then closes, no error message or anything. This APPEARS to be an issue with the WoWME client itself, as there have been numerous reports of similar errors on different WoWME posts where a new version is released.

So my suggestion to all of you is to simply wait until patch 3.0.8, download the new WoWME client, and try it then, if the problem persists, then we may have more to worry about.

Great guide m8! Tthanks, but i've got problem. It works correctly 4 my EU acaunt only, and no way when i start RU language pack. It use different data files: EU from enGB, RU from ruRU. I can't understand why it's not working right... Any suggestions ?
