i don't know, if there's already a description on how to put new sets into your model swapper, so if you're as lazy as i am, here a short description:

open your itemsets.txt and look for the class where you want to add new sets
start with the name of the set (e.g. Wrathful Gladiator's Felshroud)
you can add a description in brackets (like Season 8 Warlock Arena)
to add the single items you start with a colon ":" followed by the slot (hands/chest...) then "@" and the itemnumber. you can get the itemnumbers from www.thottbot.com, just look up your items and the number will be in the address box of your browser (e.g. http://thottbot.com/i51536)

it should look something like this:

Wrathful Gladiator's Felshroud(Season 8 Warlock Arena Set):hands@51537:head@51538:legs@51539:shoulders@51540:chest@51536

i think you can also put together various items to a new set, e.g. you want your character look like the wintergrasp battle master, so you dont have to always look up every item he's wearing (non set loot from sunwell plateau)

if you include new item sets, you will have to include the items themselves in items.txt e.g. 51536,Wrathful Gladiator's Felweave Raiment,65275
itemnumber,itemname,displayID

i've tested this so far only with the model swapper itself, i wasn't able to log in to my wow account by now, but im pretty sure it will work! i'll test it when i'm back from prague on monday!

guys how to spaw itemsets ? not just 1 by 1 each part

for some reason it only shows my paladin gear and not any of my other characters. i have tried redownloading, updating and deleting and starting again but nothing seems to work.

can someone help me.

Mhm, i rlly wanna change the gear of my charcter, and this seems like the best way to do it, but unfortiunately, i dont know how this works, i downloaded the program, placed it in my wow folder, swapped the items i wanted do, started world of warcraft, logged in, but it wont work, been reinstalling and stuff, tryed 10 times +, wont work, any1 that can give me a short tutorial or guide? thank you :$

I forgot to tell, but i get 2 different "error Messages", 1. The one mentioned by glitchy, "WDB String is out of date would you like to update it?" 2. "No WoW Directory found please manually select it." They keep popping everytime i turn on the program.

Glitchy, there are items missing after patch 3.2.2 as far as I saw it, there are no Weapons from Icecrown and such things.

Glitchy, I salute you. I always thought warlock T7 looked so much better than T9 and Pauldrons of Might look so much better on a dwarf than Polished Spaulders of Valor.. Such a shame Blizzard will never realise this. With a tool like this, there's no need for them to! +Rep!

Is a good program, but as of today that I've noticed.. after it finishes loading all my items, there's an error that pops up that reads;

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Cound not find file 'C:\Users\Comp\Desktop\items.txt'."

I try and click continue and it won't load any of the swappable items or item sets to the right of 'Your Items'.
Makes me ./sadface, please help?

hm, this was working brilliantly for the several months that I used it. but recently it stopped working for some mysterious reason.

I don't get any application errors, and I do get the message that the model swap (in this case, I'm swapping my weapons) was completed successfully, yet it does not show up in game. I have double checked that my items.txt is up-to-date with the item # and display id that I want to use.

I do think the problem might be with my itemcache.wdb. For some reason, my game (I'm playing on retail) won't create a new itemcache.wdb after I deleted mine. I've logged in and out fully several times, but my cache folder had nothing. I ended up having a friend send me his copy of itemcache.wdb, but still, my model swap is not working.

Asking for help in this thread probably won't give me an results, but if anyone could offer insight to my problem it would be appreciated!

Hey, I'm having an error with this program, i tried to switch my dull old helmet to Cursed Vision of Sargeras, did as told on-screen and looked good... until I opened my wow.
The errer message Missing or Corrupt data:
Failed to open the archive Common.MPQ
And then wow exits and I cant play.. i dont wanna reinstall so u got any ideas?
