How do you make your old Itemcache work after the patch?

When i patched my WoW i copied in the old itemcache.wdb which i have alot of model swaps on. But now none of them gets loaded and when i exit WoW the itemcache.wdb gets deleted and replaced by a new one created by the WoW client.

Tried the update function in the program which didn't solve the problem. Also copied the information from the file into the new generated itemcache.wdb, also i tried to copy my backed up cache again and put it on read only mode, it doesent read the model edits even then but at least my old cache file don't get replaced.

Don't really want to re apply every model swap i've made since it's something in the lines of 150-200 swaps.

Also note that i had backup of the Entire WDB folder and tried to copy all those files aswell as Itemcache, itemnamecache and itemtextcache at once. And only copy itemcache.wdb. All those without any result. My WoW just won't read the cache. Even tho it worked fine before the patch, and havent edited it since then.

The patch "enGB\DBFilesClient\Item.dbc" could not be applied. (Invalid source file size: expected 1469013, actual 1272820.)

How do i fix this the guy above seems to have a similar problem. I tried re-patching wow but i dont know whats wrong thanks in advance.

When i try to update items i get an error and the program crashes, tried re-downloading ,same thing. win 7 x64.

Is it unable to turn offhand books into shields ive tried to swap my wrathful offhand into a brutal gladiator barrier i set the sheath to 04 it just gives me a blue box on my back when i login is there anyway to fix this?
