Are there any other sources for the item ID other than allakhazam?

Actually I find a full armor and wep edit doing this to take 10 mins and with blps and m2s taking hours... because I cannot find the files. But hands down XVI32 is a much better tool for this.

Are you using the displayID and reversing it correctly? Because theres an itemID and displayID, and after being hexxed they have to be reversed.

Aww m_fatica is banned.... but this guide rocks... jsut used it, and I must say, very easy. And as kBlaster said, using m2's and blp's just takes forever.

Well, when i edit armor to look differently, i sometimes will also change the skin to change color's and what not... Doing this cant do it, need to edit the BLP/Texture, which Hex Editing cannot accomplish, Still a nice guide dont get me wrong hehe

    i.e for what i mean

Re: GUIDE: DBC Editing - Weapons, Shields, and Armor

    I ve a question:
I did the method right, everything, but it doest modify the animation..
I ve change a crossbow with a bow, and it looks...strange.

    Any idea?

I noticed that in the following of the cache, there was a place for animation.
For the crossbow, was 1A and 0F for the bow. I change, but arrows still miss ><

Re: GUIDE: DBC Editing - Weapons, Shields, and Armor

Is there anyway to do this using a mac. I found a hex editor but it doesn't have all the items and stuff. I searched for high warlord and it found nothing so it doesn't have everything.

    Thx skull
