Yeah spell swapping is broken atm

Well, my problem is this:
I get the MPQ file, From Lightning Bolt to an imba boss spell,
Pasted into my data folder,
Started WoW with WoWME,
Pushed F8 at the login screen,
Logged in in-game, and what happends, No changes at all.
And I followed lot's of guides, and I still didn't find the answer, I also tried to reinstall some stuff, and redo some things. But no results,

Any help will be greatly apreciated.

My current understanding:
you have to use a DBC edit for this.
try searching for a DBC editor and .MPQ extractor

lol dbc edit needed (however I can't find the spells I want)

For all of you out there with the problem of wow crashing, its because of the spell edits, the dbcs are out of date and are not going to work. Glitchy has yet to update it. (And glitchy if you read this the (Update DBC files option does not work, blizz changed fields and shit) So dont waste your time with this

Rofl, I realized i can manually update with warcraftstudio MPQ extract function..
