    [Question] Changing armor flame/glow color.

I've run into a problem with my s3 armor edits: I can't figure out how to change the color of the eye and shoulder flames. I found both of them in warcraft studio, but they were white, which makes me think they are colored by something else. What do I edit to change the color of these flame / glow effects?

    Anyone know the answer?

PS. The aforementioned post is HERE.

Answered in the thread you linked thread, but I will cross post it here for reference (as people may never see your thread and need an answer):

The yellow glowing flame effect is either a texture (open the m2 for the shoulders up in notepad ++ with the hex editor plugin, press CTRL+F and change to ASCII mode, search for BLP and go threw those textures to see if theres the one your looking for. If not then it's controlled by particles.

And it has to be edited as such:
0x150 uint32[3] ARGB colors (start, mid, end)

With Start, Mid and End in RGB format: so (255, 255, 255). Odds are its going to be a hex edit to change the particles, but I gave you both ways as it's good info none the less.

I'd appreciate it if you could tell me where to go to edit those RGB values of the particles. Also, sorry for the delayed response. Been busy with life.
I managed to edit the white BLP that I had found in warcraft studio, which happened to be the one used by the m2. I changed it to deep red color, which becomes a bright orangey-red in game (it looks fine.. i'll post a SS in a minute.)
I'd be able to achieve a more desireable result if I could, as you said, edit the particles. My searches on these forums have been futile, but I probably am missing something simple.
Thanks merfed, you're a great guy.

EDIT: I should have, you know, looked one post down to see http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...spaulders.html which has the information I need. I should have just looked at your profile merfed and seen your post on Crytects Tools!
Again, you rock. Thanks for everything, I'll get to work on those particles now.
