i'm french so sorry for my poor english.
What i want to do:
i'd like to create some cosplay clothes like
doggy suite
rabbit suite
baby suite
and some misc item like
swizzle stick
doggy bowls
doggy bones
i'd like to make this in a patch with modified m2/blp.
What i've test:
i've try to create models with 3ds that i've past in uu3d for editing blp file
then i've convert it to m2 with 3dsToM2 and attach blp with m2modder
after i've open my patch-r file with winMPQ and place the file with correct path
(Item\ObjectComponents\Head\doghat.blp Item\ObjectComponents\Head\Helm_Cloth_B_05_NiF.m2
for the helmet of the dog suite for example)
uncompressed and after compact it i've put it to wow's Data folders
the result is it's not working ^^
wow not recognize it and wowmodelview crash when selecting item
My reflexion:
i presume that there is some things that missing in 3ds file because 3dsMax cannot open the new m2 file, like bones that disapear after modification in UU3D for fixing texture surface's places.
What i need:
help for making it works
comment for 3ds editing with animation for the swizzle stick for example (cf: sucubus one ^^ who is integrated to skin model for past it to weapon)
and all other things that i've not thinking about ^^
