Texture Editing in 3.3.5a?

I was wondering if anyone could help me texture edit for 3.3.5a. I can't find any guides for it or any applications that would help.

I've been searching the site for the past few hours, too... Not sure if I'm just using the wrong keywords or what. :/

I want to take the texture of Shadowmourne + It's glow and change them to a bloody-red color.

It's been two weeks. Anyone know of any programs I can use to export the textures from WoW and where I can find them to edit them...? :/ As well as how I'd go about putting it into an mpq?

the textures are in the MPQ files (in .blp format) use MyWarcraft Studio to extract them and blp to PNG converter to convert them so u can edit the texture.
