Question Concerning DBC editing for Model Editing

Hey all,

My main question is really if anyone knew a way to edit DBC strings in a mass way, even copying and pasting them... I'm sure that sounds really unclear so let me tell you what I'm looking to do...

In general I want to edit the 4.0.6 CharSections.dbc file, and alter lets say race 11 (Draenei) to point to a High Elven texture, instead of the Draenei ones. I've already been able to create a new path for High Elven models (.m2) however its just theres waaaay to many textures and variations to rename each string by hand. I usually use Taliis and Cromons DBC editors (thanks to both for making them ) and I have tried using DBCutil however as we all know when converting to a CSV file the CSV loses most of its data, including the strings making it corrupt. So in conclusion, I was just wondering if anyone knew of a way to achieve what I was wanting. Thanks for all help ahead of time. And I apologize if this seems annoying or such.

Found a newer DBC-Util which seems to convert everything over fine... After searching for awhile of course I stumble upon it after I post. My apologies to everyone, this thread may be closed. >.<

You can specify which fields are of which type with DBCUtil. Do that and your CSV will be perfect.
