Today I was experimenting with some .dbc stuff but as fast as I tried to start WoW with the edits in the folder it closed down right away even tho I used WoWME for 2.3.2.
Well, am I doing anything wrong or is this nerfed?
Lol?

You must have done something wrong. DBC editing is still the best.
The screen is a photoshoped fake. But its possible to do such things with WDB editing.
hmm... I think you got it wrong >.<
I ment if your answered my question I'd award you with +Rep (or a teletubbie head)
However, what could I have done wrong?
I just changed class names and puted them in a patch.
Edit:
Oh, +rep btw.

You need to extract the DBC file from patch.mpq (unless it's not in that mpq).

Thats what I did.
I extracted it, opened it with DBCeditor, saved the changes, puted the .DBC file in a separate patch :/

Double-check filenames.
Maybe you changed a number to something invalid? (running out of ideas)

DBCEditor does NOT, I repeat does NOT work on 2.x. Do it with NotePad and DBCUtil. Heres DBCUtil and a quick tutorial.
Step 1: Extract the .DBC you want out of World of Warcraft's .DBC files.
Step 2: Put it in the folder with DBCUtil and drag it onto "DBCUtil.exe"
Step 3: Open the newly made .CSV with NotePad and edit away. NOTE: ALWAYS LEAVE A BLANK LINE AT THE END OF THE FILE OR IT WILL CRASH
Step 4: Save the file, delete the .DBC, and then drag the .CSV onto "DBCUtil.exe"
Step 5: When it finishs make a new .MPQ, add the file in the folder 'DBFilesClient'
Step 6: Configure WoWMe.cfg, put the new patch name in there
If you have any questions just PM me, I have done a LOT of .DBC edits, among other things.

Krysk
