Race Changes!

I would like some help (dont know if this is the right place for this topic, im new here). I have tried all these "Troll to UD, Ud to gnome"-blabla models. I get how to fix mounts and weapons and all those. But race changes just dosent work for me. When i open wow i can log in but when im supposed to se my characters wow closes. Im supposing there is an file to erase. Like the old race skins or something. Giff direction ppl!
