    [Question] Custom model conversion failure

I made a simple model in Milkshape, UV mapped it and made a texture, but I can't seem to convert it to m2 properly.

When I tried Tigurius' updated 3dstom2, the conversion seemed to complete without any errors but the model just disappears. Like an empty file when I try it in model viewer or convert it back.

With Glitchy's obj to m2, I get an "index was outside the bounds of the array" error when I select a place to save the m2.

I tried both with Blizzard's models and had the same issues. This is probably just me being stupid, but any help would be appreciated.

Milkshape can export to mdx, so try MDXtoM2 converter.

Do you mean mdl? In any case, I tried exporting an mdl from milkshape, editing that and converting to mdx and then m2. The m2 is loading and showing up perfectly in Art of Illusion but it's giving an error when I load it in model viewer. One thing that's bothering me is that I don't seem to be getting all options when converting mdx to m2. It just converts without even asking about attachments. Could that be the problem? Or did I just mess up editing the mdl?

    I am a hopeless noob.

(Full model viewer error: The instruction at "0x5ed195ec" referenced memory at "0x7ff50007". The memory could not be "read".)

    PS: thanks for replying
