    [Question] Transparent BLPs

While editing login screens I decided I would like to remove the ESRB rating and the WoW logo in the upper left corner altogether. I tried using BLP2toTGA to edit the images and make them transparent [using GIMP] but they error while attempting to convert them back to BLP files. I also attempted to just throw the TGA file into an MPQ file and rename it via MyWarcraftStudio which results in a big green box on my login screen.

    My questions are:

    1) Is there a way to create a transparent BLP file?
    or
    2) Is there another file I can sub in these images' place to make them 'disappear'.

I managed to get rid of the raiting and the Blizzard logo a while back. What I done was converted the BLPs to PNGs and made them just less than transparrent. So only py 1 or 1.5 off and you wont (or I couldn't) notice if you use a light blue.

Besides removing it from the WotLK login screen I was hoping to completely remove it from BC/Vanilla/any custom login screens I may run into in the future. I did try to color it all black as a TGA and then flip it back to a BLP but like I said before BLP2toTGA is just not taking anything that is saved from GIMP. I would really like to avoid installing something as big as Photoshop just to make one tiny little transparent file. I will keep trying other methods in the mean time.

Convert to .PNG with BLPConvertor and increase transparency to 100% with Photoshop. Drag back to cmd, pack, enjoy.
