Getting Started?

Hi there,

I have always wanted to get started on editing WoW Models. Especially changing my character to something else. So my questions are what tools do I need to get started, how do I do some simple things like lets say, My Belf Female into a Worgen or something like that?

So Im asking of what Programs I need to download. Maybe a simple walk through of an easy model change to understand how it works.

I was looking at the main Model Editing forums and was reading some of the stickies, but nothing really offered an explanation on how a noob such as myself can get going.

I did, a lot of them seemed to be out of date, and I'm not sure how to differentiate between the new and old stuff.
