    Druid ToL Swap to Caster Form

    What i'd really like to figure out is how to swap the druid ToL form out in favor of remaining with the standard casterform. Casterform being the unshifted form of the druid be it Tauren or Night Elf. I havent seen an edit out there that does this particular thing. Generally I see model swap for something that doesnt relate to the character. In essence, the ToL shapeshift button would do nothing but add the aura/buffs that it normally does, but without the change in shape.

    Anything out there like this?

    This would require one of two things:

    .Editing variables in Database Caches

    Or...

    .Editing .m2 locations / names.

    The following guides, when read thoroughly, will fill you in on exactly how to do this yourself:

    Finding your desired model... (in this case, ToL Druid):

    • Model-Finding (WoWModelViewer):

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...dels-name.html
    {This guide revolves around 1 piece of software, therefore making it relatively easy to follow. 100% Noob Friendly.}

    Editing the .m2 locations / names via MyWarcraftStudio - relate the guide to your request:

    • MyWarcraftStudio Editing (Basics):

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...l-editing.html
    {The above guide revolves entirely around MyWarcraftStudio Editing. Although it does focus on the necesarry techniques relative to Reskinning, the main focus here is switching models. Primary Learners or 'Noobs' may find this rather confusing, therefore, in relation to this topic, i rated this guide as 60% Noob-Friendly.}

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...reskinner.html
    {Ah. The guide i used to learn how to re-texture. 100% pics makes this guide VERY easy to follow. The main focuses consist of BLP Converting and photoshop / paint editing. This guide also uses MyWarcraftStudio. 95% Noob-Friendly.}

    Or, DBC Editing (swapping Display ID variables to that of your desired model in spite of the ToL Druid):

    • Character -> <- Creature Swapping (Display ID Changing, DBC Editing):

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...-creature.html
    {Thsi blatantly awesome guide focuses on variable-editing within Database Caches (.DBC), and goes into superb detail whilst including all the necesities for newbs to follow. 100% Awesome, 60% Noob-Friendly.}

    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/model-...haracters.html
    {This guide focuses on the exact same topic at the guide above, however, it does use a seperate technique (Converting to .CSV in order to edit in a program such as .Excell.) Both guides are brilliantly written - therefore, Learners will have to discover which one of the two suits them the most. 100% Awesome, 55% Noob-Friendly.}

    Good Luck.
