[Question] Island creating in Noggit

I want to create my own island in Noggit like how you see posted troughout the world building section , but I have a question.How exactly do I do that ?
I go to the bottom of the ocean and raise the land up like in this pic here :



(Yes I am underwater at a pretty considerable depth)

If that's how you must do it , is it a faster way to create you're own island ?

Yes. How else would you do it...

Use another pencil. Or use the flatten tool if its hight enough to raise the terrain nearby.
