[Question] Finding an m2 used in another model?

Basically I had found a certain gate that I wanted removed.

I found the specific .m2 that related to it and removed it, but I still seem to be colliding with an invisible wall where it used to be. I've tried removing the 'standard' collision boxes that I know of, but it seems to be irrelevant.

I can't find this m2 referenced in any of the instances WMO's or ADT's, so I figured it's worth a shot asking here.

Is there a way this model could be embedded in another model being used at that location? Is there any way to track it down to find out where the collision is happening?

    .

In CoT Strat, there's a pathway that opens up after you kill the final boss. The gates were smallportcullis.m2, but the collision in the hallway remains.

Well .. I guess its a usual collision-M2. Which ones have you checked? Its a serverside object. Its not referenced in your files. You may check the objects in the RAM to get it.

I tried the pvp collisionwall because it was referenced in several CoT Strat adt files. I also tried replacing CoT_Stratholme_Exterior_Collision.wmo and CoT_Stratholme_Exterior_Collision_000.wmo with other wmo's to no visible success.

Yah, you should check the RAM.

Did you try to remove all WMOs in the ADT? And all M2s?

Negative, WoWME seems to have issues on a few of the ADT's, but I'll try that next. What would you recommend for checking RAM?

Is there an easy way I could track down which ADT I'm looking for? There was an awesome tool I saw once called "ADT Locations" that might have helped a ton, but it seems to have vanished off the face of the internet...

Uhm .. You are in an instance, eh? Then just take those 10 ADTs and check them .. Its faster than searching for the right one.

WoWME has no problems with anything.

For checking the RAM, you should try with cheatEngine (OEngine) and look for M2s loaded. (Search for "MD20"). Then look at their names (at around +0x150 of that offset you found). See if its of your interest.

I thought it did originally, but it doesn't. Will update after I try with models removed and search memory a bit.
