Bear form to Abomination!!!! help! menu

    Bear form to Abomination!!!! help!

    so ive been working on completely remaking the druid class to look undead and have shadow spells.
    so far so good, exept im having some trouble with making bear form an abomination.


    Bear form only has one .blp file, but the abomination has two. Just wondering if theres any way to add the seccond one in so the weapons and the stomache will be colored.

    Much thanks to anyone who knows the answer to this! Sorry for no screens of mwcs, but its pretty self explanatory and i cant figure out how to display the pictures in this forum =P

    Because of this you can't successfully edit it with m2 & blp swappping. You'll have to do it with DBC editing.

    Wrong. You can modify the M2 to get it working. Just change the type of the stomach texture to hard-coded, then put the texture filename and length in the m2 and set the pointer to it.

    Oh, that's new to me. Definitely going to take a look next time I run to this.

    Hm, so i checked out the link and i found a buch of information, but i dont know what it means let alone what to do to make the skinfile hard coded.

    Can you give me any more information on how to do this?

    You'll have to get Cryect's Tools and use the M2Modder program to do that. I just tried doing it on a water elemental model at it worked just fine. Basically what I did was open the .m2 with M2Modder and enter t to edit the texture definations. After that a list will be displayed containing the textures the model uses. I made the according texture hard coded by entering t to edit the texture type, after which I entered n to edit the file name of the blp. Then I just went back to main menu and saved the file. After that's done all that is left is to find the texture file it was originally using and rename it to the name you entered to the model file earlier.

    Pack everything to MPQ and you're done. Note that the new texture file has to be in the MPQ's root, not in the /Creature/CreatureName folder!
