[Request] A Race change and Frostmourne

I kinda looked up everywhere and i couldnt find a human to death knight race change (i mean when he is pale and has scars and stuff) i kinda hope u can do this request for me. Also im not a 70 yet and not very familiar with model editting but i want my weps to look frostmourne. i looked for frostmourne and there were results but im not sure must i have exactly some wep so that it looks like frostmourne or i can select what weapon looks like frostmourne? I have a Ravager and i want it to look like frostmourne but im not sure how to do that and im hoping i dont have to download many programs then setup then...

I'm don't think a Death Knight skin is in the WoW database. If you are talking about an edit that someone did, could you post a link?

Yes, its a model edit off someone but i cant give a link i just browsed the forum and found some guide (i dont remember on what) and he had pictures of a human with pale face and scars on his face and some cool white/gray hair. I also would like an anwser on the frostmourne question the most because im attempting to spend my levels from 42 to 70 with a frostmourne looking weps

Get Glitchy's MES and use the wdb swapper to swap you weapons. As for the death knight, I can't really help you unless you give me a link or a picture or something.

Okay its from a thread called Burning CRusade to wrath of the lich king 0.7 or something and there i saw the skins in the screenshots and it looks cool. Although when i put the patches in my WoW data folder (it must be there, right?) and use model edit fix then nothing happens! I dont have those skins! Can u tell me why?

Is the .MPQ capitalized?

Put the patch-#.MPQ in your data folder where # is any letter a-z or any number 3-9.

Make sure that you launch wow through the MEF.

Make sure that the MEF is in your wow root folder.

Those are the most common problems.

I think that was a repost, let me try to find the original thread.

Edit: Looked at the files, the problem appears to be that the .MPQ is not capitalized, capitalize it and it should work.

Also about glitchy's MES i used it but it doesnt have frostmourne can u tell me how to put it in? thanks

You are going to have to use MWS in order to swap the models. I'm not sure if its a creature edit or a race edit, because I can't open .MPQs here. Use either the character to creature or the character to character guide. It may have some custom models in it, so you will have to watch out for that. Good luck.

No its a custom item i mean frostmourne. And i dont know how to make it change ANY other wep

Oh the weapon, sorry I wasn't thinking. Is there a frostmourne weapon in the wow database or are you still using that custom model pack?

I think there is a custom .m2 and .blp. Just put the custom .m2 under the treepath of the weapon you want to switch from. Put the custom .blp in the folder along with it (under the treepath you found the .blp under).

And i dont know what to do from here. How do i put it in my wow database so when i load itemcache in Glitchy's WDB swap so i could change into frostmourne too cause theres no frostmourne there. I didnt quite understand the last post what tree path exactly? Its some 7z file or something and the guy said i change it to .m2 so its .m2 now and what do i do?

Get My Warcraft Studio. Custom models won't be in Glitchy's WDB editor. Open the custom patch with My Warcraft studio. Extract the .m2 and .blp. Make a new patch with My Warcraft Stduio. Add frostmorne.m2 under the same patch as the item that you are changing from (use the Model Finder in Glitchy's MES if you are having trouble locating the model that you are changing from). Finally, add the custom .blp.

I would do it for you, but my motherboard is fried and I'm not installing wow on my office computer.
