Tauren Female to Night Elf Female BUG

I've tried using Glitchy's MES, and the seperate model editing thread posts but each one renders the same problem.

When i load the game, the model is changed - but the hair is bright green, i.e. flat green, not actually like green hair would look like.

Then to try and find out why? i went to the tauren character creation screen and it is taking horns into account instead of hair

How can i fix this? Any help would be appreciated

this thread should be able to help but haven't done any tauren switchs so not sure if it will help
