STFU ABOUT MODEL EDITING BEING NERFED! A program was made to open up a hexed version of wow which allows all wow model edits to work. It is compatible with 2.05. You can find the link of the program in the thread named"Someone Found a Way to Model Edit"YAY FOR MODEL EDITING!! REJOICE!
what makes you think that wont be nerfed? no, they cant make the program not edit anything, but they can pull a "wallclimb nerf" and have it scan that offset to make sure it isnt changed.Originally Posted by Korey16

Well all my models works fine, becouse i don't use "numbers" no more (most number remodel patches are nerfed).
Instead try using letters: "patch-(a-z here).mpq" or so. Well that works for my friends and me.
BTW we are playing on the Europe servers.

One word for all you guys. W32DASM. Get some assemble/dissasemble experience and you can edit WoW.exe to stop the program for checking the sig file and make model editing available again.

if you edit the actual wow.exe then you get a version mismatch error with the server. dont think we havent tried editing the exe.Originally Posted by Cody900

I think campfire should be able to edit to something else using WDB files. I will check it out myself but I can't get my mind quite around it. the file where you find the campfire is gameobjects.wdb. I woul really appreaciate if some of the more experienced people would take a lokk into this and make a post with the campfire cache file. (remember to tell people to make backups)
Also it would be great if a moderator or matt took a look at the posts that are already up and specify wether they work for tbc or not in the title. It's a lot of work but most can be done by reading. I voulenteer to help out with it myself![]()
Dizziness
I'm just wondering, Dpes the Model protection thing run the same as Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas?
As in, It checks to see if the size is correct on all files, right down to bytes.
If so, I might have a solution, it might not work though.
Not completely sure, but I think so. Please share your solution, and if it works, you are likely contrib soonOriginally Posted by Brutuz1000and1![]()
