As this GM says "And they are able to tell" I personally don't see how....
AI is no match for Natural Stupidity.
2 GM's told me that you can model edit, but he wouldn't recommend it because there are some model edits that have disadvantage with other players, i told him if he meant of terrain edits, and he said yes..
So basically, you can model edit, but if you want to be 100% sure that you won't get banned, don't do it, obviously theres like a 2% chance that maybe you get banned..but why risk it?
I myself, model edit, I also use bots, and never been banned, I must say Blizzard got a poor anti-hack, well, It got a pretty good one compared from other shitty games *cough* Runescape*cough cough*
I model edit, and i dont care what a GM says, But just putting this out there.
First. With Warden Blizzard should be able to watch your computer's files, therefore, they can always look at your game files.
But I can't see why they would start viewing them one by one![]()
Since when does a GM use emotes?
The world calls.. and I answer.
i honestly dont see why blizzard would care (as long as it isnt terrain or game exploiting edits)
Changing my Y item/model -> C item/model makes me a happy player
a happy player plays wow longer.
paying for wow longer funds blizzard's death ray.
blizzard's death ray is the key to their world domination plot
its a win/win
anyway its been almost 3 years i dont think they mind all that much, but you never know
Yeah they all do the little =). This is a very interesting conversation.
i think the reason skin/model changes are bannable is cause for blizzard it would be hard to tell the difference between skin/model and adt (terrain) edits without opening up each mpq and checking whats inside which would take to long
just my two cents though
The Emotes are a built in to WIM which is a mod i use to pop up a new window when i get a message.

Would the item cache count as a game file since it's technically a temporary file?
