    On patch build 6.0.1.18443, wow client will crash when the extractor extracts from this file "XTextures/splash/wake.blp".

    Anyone know where the paths to item icons are stored?

    If I take an icon, like "inv_boot_leather_raidrogue_n_01" from item 104586, I can't find that string in any DBC file that I know of.

    Unless I'm parsing that file wrong or my copy is damaged, it just appears to have ".mdx" entries and doesn't contain the string "inv_boot_leather_raidrogue_n_01".

    Ah sorry, i was looking on MoP dbc
    In WoD, column 2 is model, but icons have same name with INV_ and .blp
    From dbc "axe_2h_draenordungeon_c_01.mdx" real .blp name "INV_Axe_2h_DraenorDungeon_C_01.blp". Just add INV_ and .blp

    do not use it, in item.db2 column8 you will find a id,search it from filedata.dbc column1 and you will find the icon

    and I think some missing files should be from alternate.MPQ of live version.
    alternate.MPQ is the low violence modification files for German and China realms
