Im not at my computer right now but i just checked the download link and its working fine for me.. O.O just click download, on the page.
if it indeed says success then you might want to double check your display id order, etc. did you do it ingame? if so you need to relog to the character screen, not reloud ui or anything else. just relog.
i still couldnt sort it![]()
i got the ids from wowhead source..
i made a text document with like gearme 65747 45837 or something <those weren't actualy numbers
I saved it as a .bat file in teh same folder and gearme.exe
Then i ran wow, opened the bat file, it did its bussiness and it said it had found them and it was succes and whatever, i have reloged everything but its not changing anything ingame ;s Going to try again now
isnt working for me bro, sry :P i did it 100 % right. but nothing changed.![]()
Can some1 copy and paste the tutorial here? I can't seem to register without getting an error page (Lost internet connection apparently)
alright, i have heard from many of you via private messages that it works, and i have also heard about just as many that dont work for them. before i released this i passed it around to a few friends and our environment is w7 x64. and it worked fine for all of us.
so i guess i will be posting the source code later tonight when i get home so you can all compile it properly for your environment![]()
Works like a charm. Thank you very much
When I run C:\Users\(username)>C:\gearME\gearME ##### ##### (doesn't matter what numbers)
I always get this response:
Process "WoW.exe" found!
Handle obtained!
But nothing close to it actually swapping the IDs I give. I don't know if this has anything to do with my text file not actually turning into a bat file when I rename it or what or if that's actually intended, but I can't get past it obtaining a handle, whatever that means. When I try running the program outside of cmd, it just gives me the normal error message.
EDIT: I made the document into a genuine batch file and I can't seem to get anything different, even when running it at the logon screen in windowed mode just to make sure, with or without administrator rights.

run the .bat while in the login screen. then it says:
Process "Wow.exe" found!
Handle obtained!
Finding: 86255
Replaying with: 45888
Memory write failed!
