I feel it testable when you got a place to actually run around on currently only 4/23 zones are finished design-minded.. There is still alot of quests and gimmicks to do from the programmers side before it's even ready for out test team to go there (and yes the test team is full 5/5)

i just made this massive post giving all sorts of helpful information on heightmaps via talis and how you might get a server to use the old pvp systems froma pack on *******, as well as ideas on how you could possibly get a server to run off client files instead of a seperate directory. took so the forum logged me out and my post got lost.

fml, there goes 30 min of my life haha

    edit:
    cliffnotes would have been:
    - tallis can do heightmaps (if i recall correctly)
    - ******* has some very nice server packs, i remember seeing one recently that had most of the old world populated and used old style pvp (not sure if it had ranking)
    - take what madamegrip said to heart....even building a single zone is a massive amount of work, just think about how many trees, cups, tables, light posts, etc are in elwynn and stormwind...
    - if you want to rebuild the game from scratch take a step back from the mpqs and look first at how servers work, then take a look at how the actualy program/.exe work and how they load things
    - you may want to cinsider using an older client, alot of model editors prefer to use the 1.12 client, i believe that was the last one that used a folder structure as opposed to mpq archives ( correct me if im wrong, was it 1.10 not 1.12? been so long..)

    - other misc ideas for how you might make that project a little easier on yourself that im too annoyed to rewrite >.>
