Omg, everyone keeps suggesting Ladik's MPQ Editor, but whenever I d/l it and open the program. Nothing works at all, open button, exit button, create new MPQ, etc.... Like wtf.

Well I got the MPQ file into the program by dragging and dropping, but now it doesn't do anything at all when I hit extract.

Hey guys,
followed the instructions above and the model edit works great. But I'm only able to use one edit at a time, as soon as I add a second one called "patch-X.MPQ" or anything else, I get a critical WoW error, even with two edits that worked seperately before.
Am I doing something wrong? Anyone a solution?

I have the same exact problem, does anyone have any solution to this? perhaps another program? ( Mywarcraftstudio doesnt work either)

As mentioned earlier, dbc file edits doesn't quite seem to work.

The edited dbc file I'm using is the 4.0 Spells.dbc, yet no result.

Tried your technique with a [Mount Swap] Armored Brown Bear to Amani War Bear used in the following link:

And couldn't get it to work. Been trying many different things, maybe Mount Swaps dont work? But if you could get it to work could you post the link here,

Since patch 4.0.3 my model edits in the patch-Z.MPQ folder wont work why??

Mount swaps haven't worked since 4.0.1 or so ?
So don't think anyone has figured it out yet or if anyone will, but I hope so

It's the same after every patch, until someone figures out how to do it this time we'll just have to play our original races or ride our boring mount, well if you don't have all of them already ofc :P
And also, cuz some ppl are just plain stupid and use model edits to get unfair advantages in the game and ruin the fun for us how just want to spice the gameplay up a bit, that's why it doesn't work an they will make it harder for us to get it to work
