open up Patch-2.mpq, try looking in that one.

yes i found the files in there.

my question is since my character is a NE Male and my model change is a human female.

Do I need to rename the human female helm to nightelf or vice versa?

Can someone just make a helmet fix for all the classes? would help us all out and save alot of trouble

Step 2. Under common.mpq go to Item > ObjectComponents > HEAD (yes with the caps). Under that should be a huge list of weird file names and you are going to find the helmet you want to change into. Here is how it works... Let's take Helm_Plate_D_01_TaM.m2
How that works is that Plate is the type of armor it is hense the word "plate" and the TaM part means Tauren Male. So if your Troll Female, your looking for TrF (for blood elf is Be and night elf its Ne before anyone asks that they can't find those). Also REMEMBER THE NAME OF THE HELMET FILE YOU'LL NEED IT LATER.

E_01 found in patch2.mpq is T5
F_01 found in the same mpq is T6
